Copying Answers
You can copy any Genie answer to your clipboard with a single click.
How to copy
- Hover over the answer (or scroll to it on touch devices).
- Click the 📋 Copy icon in the toolbar directly below the answer.
- A toast notification appears: Copied! and stays for about 2 seconds.
The copied content is plain text:
- HTML and Markdown rendering are stripped
- Citation superscripts (¹, ², ³…) are removed
- Code blocks are preserved as plain text without syntax highlighting
This makes the text easy to paste into emails, tickets, Word documents, and chat messages.
What gets copied

If you need the Markdown source (for example, to paste into a Markdown editor with formatting intact), you'll need to manually re-format the copied text.
Copying a whole conversation
There is no "copy entire conversation" button in the current build. To capture a full conversation:
- Use the browser's built-in Save Page As (Ctrl+S / Cmd+S) feature
- Or click Copy on each answer individually and paste them together
Privacy reminder
Copied answers are now in your clipboard. Be careful not to paste them into untrusted destinations — they may contain RESTRICTED data from your KB documents.
