Starting a Chat
The Chat page (/c) is where you actually use Genie. This page covers how to open it and pick a knowledge base.
Asking Questions
Once a knowledge base is selected (see Starting a Chat), the input bar is active and you can ask anything.
Reading Answers
Genie's answers are formatted Markdown. This page covers the anatomy of an answer so you know how to read each part.
Sources & Citations
Every fact Genie tells you should be backed by a citation pointing to a source document. This page explains how to use those citations to verify answers and trace information.
Copying Answers
You can copy any Genie answer to your clipboard with a single click.
Chat History
Every conversation you have with Genie is saved to your personal history. Chat history is strictly per-user โ no one else, not even KB administrators, can read your chats.
Voice Assistant
Genie can both listen to your questions (speech-to-text) and read answers aloud (text-to-speech). Both features are off by default and require feature flags to be enabled in your environment.
